What Is Quordle?
Quordle is a free, unlimited Wordle variant where you solve four hidden five-letter words at the same time. Every guess you type is entered into all four boards at once, and you have nine guesses to crack all four.
The feedback is the classic Wordle color system, scored separately on each board: green for the right letter in the right spot, yellow for a right letter in the wrong spot, gray for a letter not in that word. Quordle was created in 2022 and acquired by Merriam-Webster in 2023, becoming the most popular Wordle spin-off. How to Play Quordle in 5 Steps

- 02 Read all four boards. Each board scores your guess on its own: green for a right letter in the right spot, yellow for a right letter in the wrong spot, gray for a letter not in that word.
- 03 Manage four words in parallel. A letter can be green on one board and gray on another. The status strip under each key is split into four segments — one per board.
- 04 Solve all four within nine guesses. You get nine tries to crack all four words. Each board freezes as you solve it, leaving the rest in play.

5 Tips to Win More Quordle Games
Good Quordle play is mostly about discipline: resisting the urge to chase the first board that looks solvable and instead spending early guesses on broad information. These five habits separate consistent solves from narrow misses:
- 01Front-load information. Spend two or three guesses on letter-rich openers before solving any single board. With nine guesses for four words, a wide early base is worth more than an early win.
- 02Solve the easiest board first. Lock in whichever word has the most greens to free up guesses, then move to the next-clearest. Order matters in Quordle.
- 03Lean on the four-segment keyboard. It is the only place that shows every letter's status across all four words at once — read it before every guess.
- 04Count your budget constantly. Nine guesses for four words is about two per word. If three boards are unsolved with three guesses left, you need words that close multiple boards, not one.
