What Is Octordle?
Octordle is a free, unlimited Wordle variant where you solve eight hidden five-letter words at the same time. Every guess you type is entered into all eight boards at once, and you have thirteen guesses to crack all eight.
The feedback is the classic Wordle color system, scored separately on each board: green for the right letter in the right spot, yellow for a right letter in the wrong spot, gray for a letter not in that word. Octordle sits one rung above Quordle on the multi-board ladder — Wordle solves one word, Quordle four, Octordle eight — and the jump in mental load is what makes it a favorite among players who have outgrown the smaller boards. The strongest Octordle plan is a fixed three- or four-word opening that burns through the most common letters — start with RAISE, follow with words covering the remaining vowels and consonants, and only then start closing out the boards that have the clearest greens.

5 Tips to Win More Octordle Games
Octordle punishes tunnel vision more than any smaller board. These five habits keep all eight words moving:
- 01Open with three or four fixed words. Burn the common letters across the alphabet before you solve anything. With eight boards, broad early information beats an early win every time.
- 02Solve in order of certainty. Close out whichever board has the most greens first to free up guesses, then move to the next-clearest. Lock in the easy ones before the budget tightens.
- 03Live in the keyboard strips. With eight boards, the segmented keyboard is the only place that shows every letter's status at once. Read it before committing any guess.
